  • “GET REAL”: BECOME A WORLD CHRISTIAN United In The WORD Ministries, Inc. - March 27, 2012

“If my life is broken when given to Jesus, it is because pieces will feed a multitude, while a loaf will satisfy only a little lad”. - Ruth Stull Just before our Lord Jesus Christ departed to His heavenly abode, He asked his disciples to fulfill “The Great Commission”. It was this: “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature…” (Mark 16: 15a) To empower them for this mammoth task, He commanded his disciples to wait for the baptism of the Holy Spirit in Jerusalem as the first step. “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth”. (Acts 1:8)

  • THAT NONE (we know) SHOULD PERISH United In The WORD Ministries, Inc. - March 27, 2012

The other day as I was reading and meditating from the Bible, I got arrested by God! I was stopped on my tracks as God opened my eyes to a couple of all-too familiar verses, which were none other than John 3:16-17: "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved" (John 3:16-17). You will notice that I have highlighted some portions of these verses that caught my attention, and it dawned on me that what I was reading was God’s desire for humankind through the ages past.
